“How does Jesus gaze at me today?” (Pope Francis, 22 May 2015) This was the theme of the Holy Week Vocation Retreat organized by the Canossian Sisters in Canossa College, San Pablo City from Maundy Thursday till Easter Sunday (April 14-17). The 6 participants came from Camarines Norte, Quezon Province, Laguna, and Manila and were happy to meet each other face to face. They were grateful that they were able to reflect and pray on the three gazes of Jesus which allowed them to deepen their identity as Beloved by God. This was the first attempt to hold a face-to-face vocation retreat after the regular online vocation encounter via zoom every 4th Sunday of the month. Let us continue to pray for these ladies and for all young men and women so that they may heed the call of Jesus Crucified and Risen to love and serve Him in the Church as priests or consecrated men and women.
