The next two pillars of the seven-pillared capacitation model for philanthropic development was highlighted during the 2nd Boot Camp with Spring Rain Global: Philanthropy and Financial Planning. The Sisters were introduced to the two “types” of help and funders: charity and philanthropy, the ethics of fundraising, ethics committees and donor policies, as well as the importance of professionalizing help. As Canossian stewards of God’s resources, we are called to a more effective, efficient, accountable, and systematic way of helping the poor in order to make a long and lasting impact, in their lives, all for God’s glory.
