“Breathe in patience, breathe in love. Love yourself bountiful. And send that love to others. When you send love from the bountifulness of your own love, it reaches to other people”.
The two-day Local Council Formation on June 21-22, 2022 in Canossa House of Spirituality was filled with inspiring thoughts, stirring feelings and movements from the Spirit urging us to be the “more” of our Foundress. On June 21st, Sr. Agnes Wong, MMB, has given us more points to ponder in our way of companioning and has deepened our commitment to be our “sisters’ keepers” as she introduced us to “Resonance in Accompaniment” making us more attuned with our body in order to be more emotionally connected to ourselves and to our sisters in the community. Becoming familiar with resonant language in accompaniment can be helpful in our mission as co-journeyers. On June 22nd, the business meeting began with a short animation from Sr. Lilia Nuesca emphasizing the importance of “listening” in our journey towards Synodality first of all in our local community and then in the local church. She accentuated that our synodal journey calls for “more” in our community as journeying companions and co-responsible persons in the mission. This two-day encounter culminated in St. Joseph Sanctuary, Gourmet Farm, Silang, Cavite enjoying each other’s company in games, appreciating the marvels of God’s handiwork in creation and relishing the food served to us with joy and gratitude. “When you send love from the bountifulness of your own love, it reaches to others people”. – John O Donohue
