Today, July 3, 2023, marks the beginning of Phase 3 of the CCTAO (Canossian Collaborative Team in Asia-Oceania) Formators’ Formation, which started with an opening Mass and liturgy at Canossa House of Spirituality Tagaytay. Phase 1 and 2 took place from May 6 to June 25, 2023, with 37 participants attending via Zoom. Among them were 31 from CCTAO, 3 from the India Center, and 1 from the Delegation of South East India, India North, and India South.
Out of the 37 participants, 12 Sisters will be participating for the third module, which will be conducted in person. The group consists of 1 participant from the Philippines, 1 from Australia, 2 from East Timor, 2 from Hong Kong, 1 from Singapore, 3 from Indonesia, 1 from the India Center, and 1 from Malaysia. They will stay in Tagaytay until August 8, 2023.
The Formators’ Formation is a momentous opportunity for participants to enhance their skills as formators. The Sacred Heart Province is joyful to host this gathering fostering unity, collaboration and interculturality. The course hopes to empower and equip the sister-participants in the accompaniment ministry mindful of the “great gift of vocation God has given us” especially as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our Foundress.
