“Nasa Diyos ang awa, nasa tao ang gawa.” Divine Providence is always ours for the taking yet this boundless resource requires our faith and works in order to flow freely. On August 17 – 18, 2024, the Canossian Resources Hub or CaReHub Team, in partnership with Spring Rain Global, held its first hybrid boot camp for more than 40 Sisters in various roles of leadership in community and ministry. This boot camp was focused on two pillars of the seven-pillared capacitation model for philanthropic development: leadership and governance followed by project management and development. Our able facilitators were Dr. Glenda Antonio and Ms. Nicole Justo. The participants seriously and enthusiastically engaged in the tasks of applying what they learned, producing log frame matrices on four major advocacies – education, vocation and formation, care for the elderly, and housing for those displaced by calamities. May our passion for God and passion for humanity sustain this journey of learning in order for us to live more fully our Canossian identity.
